a quality consideration

old works

.

i have so many pictures of works dating back to the late 1970's. these old pictures don't scan well, but i thought i'd shove some of them on here anyway. hopefully, i can re-take some better quality pictures as i possibly run across these pieces again. it's on my 'do' list

eleven panel bedroom series.

the old display i built for early art shows.

tthree small panels built into a door.
i traded these to a guy that fixed my sansui 9090db amp.

this colorful monstrosity is a bathroom window.

i went to install these panels and discovered hidden termite damage.
eventually installed them after the wood was repaired.

stairway landing window.

a hood ornament on my brother's car. it lasted for years.

sweeping bathroom bay window.

7 panel entry system. my first use of 1" lead with huge pieces of glass.

the first internet order and shipment.

using a stock bevel cluster (seen in transom), i added
many bevel squares to 'stretch' it out to make the sidelights.
july 1981: my friend mark ehrnschwender had me build four panels for his house in cincinnati. 'BELAIR', as it was named, is a big old place and i was holed up in the basement for several weeks. i hope to get back there and get some pictures of the works and see how well they've held up. the scans presented here are somewhat rough.
