hello. my name is
mike and i do custom stained glass. one day in 1976, i decided to take
on a "hobby". after a bit of looking, i decided to try stained glass. within a couple months,
i was doing retail stained glass work in a local studio. after a year or
so, i was manager of the retail shop's wholesale glass production division.
i relocated to florida in 1988 and have been doing glass on my own ever
since. i am also employed in a prominent established stained glass company where
we make some incredible panels. the more traditional stuff is nice, but i prefer doing modern designs
using more of the clear textured glasses.
i have work in many
private homes and businesses. i have some large installations in multi-million
dollar homes here in the tampa bay, florida area. i pride myself on perfection.
i want my work to be flawless and will put my quality up against anyone
else's, regardless of price. where other's work may look good from 15 feet
away, i want mine to look good from 15 inches away. my work will stand
the test of time and will appreciate in value, where less quality pieces
will depreciate or hold no future value as a heirloom. my work is guaranteed until i die. size, fit, materials and craftsmanship, all must meet my expectations,
as well as those of the client. i have a vast portfolio of finished installations. stained glass is no hobby for me. it is serious work
that i enjoy. |
